UK Waste Solutions – UKWSL – has announced the acquisition of 707 Resource Management for an undisclosed fee.
707 is a nationwide waste broker providing management, collection and recycling services to a range of businesses. The Otley-based company has an annual turnover of about £4 million.
A statement on the company’s website explained that 707 looks to help implement recycling processes which ensure that any waste their customers produce which can be recycled, is recycled.
Commenting on the acquisition, UKWSL’s managing director, Max Kanda explained he is confident UKWSL can provide 707 with further value.
Growth
He said: “This announcement demonstrates UKWSL’s commitment to continued growth, both organically and through targeted acquisitions, where we can realise commercial and operational synergies and add value for customers.
“I am confident we will provide them with further commercial and environmental value, whilst maintaining our unwavering focus on delivering an unparalleled customer experience.”
UKWSL has a turnover in excess of £25 million per annum and works across an array of sectors including retail, hospitality and public services. Well-known brands that UKWSL works with include Scope, Zizzi and Roadchef.
