UKCM storms to victory at Masters of Waste Scotland

A  team from UK Container Maintenance has won the fourth Masters of Waste Scotland golf tournament held at Trump Turnberry, Ayrshire on 27 September.

The team of Richard Delooze, Ben Connet, Robert Hall and Kenny Smith triumphed with a score of 105 points, seeing off competition from Augean, whose team scored a total of 99 points.

Golfers competed for the team and individual trophies over 18 holes on Turnberry’s Robert the Bruce Course.

Other teams competing were Augean, Nathans Waste Savers, Natural Capital Analysis, Sirius Communications and t2e.

Winners

On the individual front, Kenny Smith from Lowmac Alloys won the individual prize with 46 points.

John Donnelly from Nathans Waste Savers picked up the prize for the longest drive, while Chris Leader from Augean won the nearest the pin accolade.

Rob Mowat, director at letsrecycle.com, said: “We were delighted to see familiar and new faces returning for our fourth Masters of Waste Scotland. The course was truly beautiful and we had a lot of fun on and off the course. I’d like to thank everyone involved for their support.”

Mr Mowat added: “I would also like to congratulate all of the winners and runners up for their fantastic efforts out on the course.”
