Simply Waste Solutions has announced the acquisition of Wycombe Trade Waste and Skip Hire Ltd– which will add 500 new customers to its existing client base.
The waste collections business concluded the deal yesterday (1 March) which sees it expand its portfolio within the Buckinghamshire region.
James Capel, chief executive at Simply Waste, said the acquisition was an “ideal fit”
The deal also sees Simply Waste gain an additional waste transfer station that will increase its ‘reach and capability’.
Commenting on the acquisition, James Capel, Simply Waste’s chief executive and founder said: “For more than two decades, Wycombe Trade Waste has had an enviable reputation and, like ourselves, has succeeded by delivering an exceptionally responsive service at a competitive price and so this acquisition is an ideal fit for us”

Based in Bledlow, Wycombe Trade Waste & Skip Hire is a family-run business established in 1986 ago to deliver commercial waste management and skip hire services throughout the county.
The firm also offers house and office clearances and a bag collection service for smaller customers with limited space and access.
Chris Barlow, former owner of Wycombe Trade Waste, said: “We have put in many years of hard work building the business so it was vitally important for us that, whoever bought it, also shared our same desire to deliver the very highest levels of customer care.
“It is, therefore, extremely pleasing that we’ll be handing the reins over to a company that will not only carry on our good work but also has the capability of providing our many loyal customers with an even wider range of services.”
Located in High Wycombe, since 2006 Simply Waste has grown from a two truck start-up to a national business with a fleet of 50 vehicles and over 120 employees.
