Environmental consultancy Clarity Environmental has landed a place in the seventh edition of the London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report.
The report recognises the UK’s fastest growing and “most dynamic” small and medium sized businesses. To be featured in the report businesses had to demonstrate strong revenue growth during the last three years and “outperform their sector peers”.
The report for 2020 is the seventh edition of the London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’
Clarity Environmental founder and managing director David Honcoop said: “It is a great honour and huge achievement to have been included in this year’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report. The reported made note of Clarity Environmental’s “increased focus on staff development” and its personal development programme, which enables the company to take staff from newcomers to managerial positions in just a few years.
Brighton
Based in Woodingdean, near Brighton, Clarity Environmental provides recycling, recovery and trading services to help businesses comply with environmental regulations.
Having been founded in 2002 to trade in packaging recovery notes, the company now also operates packaging and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) compliance schemes, collects scrap vehicle batteries for recycling and provides a range of waste to fuel services.
In 2018, Clarity Environmental made a commitment to donate 1% of its profits to charitable organisations, social enterprises or awareness campaigns. As part of this commitment, the company announced a new partnership with assistance dog charity Hound for Heroes in August 2018 (see letsrecycle.com story).
Clarity Environmental says it has donated more than £100,000 to good causes since 2018.
