Enva has announced the acquisition of Associated Reclaimed Oils Ltd (ARO) for an undisclosed sum.
London-based ARO is a long-established collector of waste lubricant oils and hazardous wastes, offering services to the market through London and South East England.

The business collects around 10 million litres of used lubricants per annum, as well as a range of hazardous garage wastes.
Acquisitions
This is the latest in a string of acquisitions for recycling and recovery services provider, Enva, which has been expanding its operations in the UK market.
Last December, the company announced the acquisition of leading waste wood processing business Hadfield Wood Recyclers, which followed that of waste management businesses GP Green Recycling Limited, William Tracey, Wastecycle and Blue Sky Plastics Recycling.
The ARO business will be rebranded as Enva and fully integrated into Enva’s existing waste oil collection and processing business.

Enva is majority owned by Exponent Private Equity, which acquired the DCC group – owner of William Tracey and WasteCycle – in 2017 in a c£200 million transaction. The companies have subsequently begun rebranding under the Enva name following the move.
Enva has operations in Ireland, in both hazardous and non-hazardous waste services, and employs around 1,400 staff in total. Aside from waste, Enva Group also offers a portfolio of water and waste water services.
