Two exhibitors – Vehicle Weighing Solutions Ltd and Specialist Fleet Services – have confirmed their places at the Letsrecycle Live trade show and conference in May.
Vehicle Weighing Solutions Ltd will be giving live demonstrations of its integrated bin-weighing and software system, showing visitors how the systems combine to manage all waste collections and management processes end-to-end.
VWS specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and service of underbody weighing, bin weighing, overload protection systems, axle-weighbridges and waste management software.
The company will be showcasing its Enviroweigh bin weighing system alongside PurGo – a next generation waste management and recycling software system that combines with weighing systems and most business systems. Together the two systems provide an integrated business management system plan, track and report all activities including billing and payment management, the company says.
Opportunity
Julian Glasspole, managing director, VWS, said: “I like the focus on live equipment and vehicle demonstrations at Letsrecycle Live. The show provides an excellent opportunity for waste operators to see our systems in action. Our customers tell us that our combined solution pays for itself in a short time, which says it all.”
VWS will also be demonstrating its VOPS2 (vehicle overload protection system), which is easy to install, accurate and helps prevent overloading from occurring, the company says.
The system can be fitted to most types of commercial vehicle ranging from 3.5t GVW. Load sensors are installed between the axle and the body of a vehicle to detect the load applied to the axles.
SFS
Contract hire, fleet and workshop management firm, Specialist Fleet Services Ltd (SFS) will also be exhibiting, alongside its municipal vehicle hire division, CTS Hire.
SFS runs a network of workshops and has been delivering contract hire, fleet and workshop management solutions to the public and private sector since 1992. Together SFS and CTS Hire provide fleet services, from short-term vehicle hire to longer term, more complex fleet provision including vehicle maintenance and workshop management.
SFS was recently awarded a new seven-year contract with Hinckley & Bosworth borough council – which the company has supplied for over 13 years. Kettering borough council, which has now merged services with Corby borough council and has been an SFS customer for over 15 years, has also extended its current contract for a further 9 years.
Bob Sweetland, managing director, SFS: “We provide a joined-up service that keeps everything under one roof and means we can offer our customers a comprehensive and flexible range of vehicle hire, fleet and maintenance solutions. Exhibiting at Letsrecycle Live will provide us with an excellent opportunity to talk to prospective customers and network with our industry colleagues.”
The stand will also have one of CTS Hire’s latest vehicles on display – a new Dennis Eagle 26T rear-steer Olympus Twin-pack. All new CTS Hire vehicles are fitted with a live camera system to enable real-time monitoring.
