The Recycling and Waste Management (RWM) exhibition will take place at the NEC this year on the 12th and 13th September with 500 exhibitors confirming their attendance
This year’s event sees the introduction of the Future Resources Expo operating alongside RWM, allowing for a larger breadth of sectors to collaborate and share industry knowledge.
The Innovation Trail will return to this year’s show, providing delegates with the chance to see everything that the RWM has to offer within their sector. A line-up of industry speakers have been confirmed covering a variety of topics from helping small businesses grow, insight into the infrastructure assessment and the prevention of waste crime.
Guest speakers
Adrian Griffiths, CEO of Recycling Technologies, will be discussing chemical recycling and what it could open up for the UK to hit its recycling targets. Tony Khouri, the Waste Contractors & Recyclers Association executive director, will also be present, talking about the difficulties when looking to improve recycling in order to meet lower contamination legislation.
There will also be 350 seminars across the two-day event, which includes presentations from Sharon Lashley of Enviro UK Consultants who will discuss the reducing reliance of single use plastics as well as James Lee of Cromwell Polythene on how we can adjust our essential need for plastics in present times.
RWM has confirmed a range of exhibitors which includes specialist equipment suppliers Ken Mills Engineering, Eurotools, Magnapower Equipment, inciner8 Ltd, Lodi UK and Moisttech among others. The companies will be available to answer any questions or queries visitors may have regarding their company products and services.
A focus on the business aspect of waste management sees a number of service providers exhibiting as well, allowing for recruiting and consulting providers to make their presence known at the exhibition. Astute Technical, Pivot, WRC, Invelo, Veolia and the European Bioenergy Research Institute are a few of many services on show.
