Upcoming conferences on RDF and fire prevention and control are set to offer delegates guidance on regulations and the latest updates on issues affecting the industry.
Taking place on 23 November at the Congress Centre in London, the RDF Conference will take an in depth look at the outlook for the RDF market, including the UK’s capacity for RDF and future waste volumes.
The conference will feature presentations by the Environment Agency on regulating the sector. And there will be talks by German consultancy TOMM+C chief executive officer, Thomas Obermeier on RDF and waste to energy in Europe, as well as Mark Terrell from Andusia Recovered Fuels on UK capacity and infrastructure.
Also taking place in London at the QEII Centre, the Fire Prevention and Control (in the waste and recycling industry) conference, organised in partnership with Eunomia, will be held on 15 November.
The conference will include input from regulators, insurers, local authorities and waste management businesses to share best practice on reducing the risk of a fire and provide guidance on the Agency’s new regulations.
Speakers at the event include Emma Tilbrook, consultant at Eunomia, who will be providing guidance on completing a fire prevention plan and Chris Jones, chairman at the Waste Industry Safety and Health (WISH) forum will give his update on the fire prevention.
